BVI Shopping

Talking about shopping options British Virgins can not be compared with other Caribbean islands. There are no duty-free shops. The tourists won’t find a huge variety of souvenirs and handicrafts. Start you shopping travel at Crafts Alive, an open-air market in the center of the capital, Road Town. It is not just market, it is a tradition itself. Crafts Alive consists of a series of old-fashioned West Indian-style buildings, where the tourists can buy locally made Caribbean dolls, straw hats, crocheted doilies, and T-shirts. All the shops at BVI are open from Monday to Saturday; the store hours are from 9am to 4pm.
